Dance Classes
Navaranjitha performing art center conducts dance classes in Junior, Intermediate and Advance levels. The Junior training involves basic exercises and stretching for Bharathanatyam, Pranam (Namaskaram), Aduvus (steps), coordination of feet and Talam (rhythm), gestures (hand signs and movements), Abhinaya (expression) and basic theory.
Please call for more information on Intermediate and Advance levels. Assessing one’s basic skills are necessary before joining Intermediate and Advanced levels.

The duration of the each class is 45 to 60 minutes. There will be 1 regular class per week and 1 practice class bi-weekly. Students may reschedule their class to compensate for any missed class. Practice classes are optional. There are a total of 6 classes in a month for beginners including practice classes. Students are encouraged to join other batches for additional practice with prior approval. Course notes will be provided to the students after every class and also electronically where necessary. The class size is limited to 10 or 12 students to ensure that each student gets individual attention.
